David Lynch Foundation – Advocates teaching Meditation in Schools

The Lowdown -

“The David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace was founded in July 2005 to provide scholarships for school-wide Transcendental Meditation programs in public, charter, and private schools throughout the United States and around the world, and to provide funds for universities and research institutions to assess the effects of the program on creativity, intelligence, academic performance, ADHD and other learning disorders, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, eating disorders, etc.”

Why this program?

Meditation has proven to alleviate stress, clinical depression, learning disorders, high blood pressure and induce academic achievement and full brain potential.

There are a few Paul McCartney prints left at the David Lynch Foundation. All proceeds go to benefit the David Lynch Foundation’s transcendental meditation program in public schools – here.
