A small story about music

“Hey, I made you a mixed tape”
“Yeah, thanks. You like that music – not me.”
Well, I made you one anyway.

It’s a true fact. The guy that puts the playlist together and sends (or in my youth – the mixed tape and gives) has way more fun with the process of making it than the receiver has listening to it. There are some exceptions though – the new boyfriend gives you a mixed tape – every song was deeply written about you and your love for each other (made up in your head), the friend selects music for you because you’re heading on a road trip (most cases good to have) and, um, I don’t know, there must be some other reason but I can’t think of one now.

Starting today at Grace is over 50 I’m sending some music your way. You may like it. You may not. Kinda like a mixed tape.

My selections are in no way conclusive. That would take a million years.

Commenting is good. You comment and I’ll compile. Main thing – you’ll be listening and thinking about music. And that’s always very good.
